DELCO Alerts - Emergency Notification System

The County has launched a Mass Notification service that allows us to alert you. You opt-in to enter your contact information and subscribe to a notification you care about based on your location. The information you provide is protected and will not be used for any other purpose.

How It Works

When we issue a notification about a potential safety hazard or concern, you will receive a message on the voice or text communication methods that you have registered. If requested for the notification, you can confirm that you have received the message, and you will not be contacted by any subsequent methods regarding that particular notification. If you do not confirm, the system will continue to attempt to reach you at all of the contact paths that you have registered.

Sign up for Notifications

Create an account and add your contact and location information into the Mass Notification system website. All information you provide will be kept strictly confidential. For users without internet access or have trouble using the website an electronic copy can be found here (PDF)

Anyone needing assistance or having trouble with Delco Alert should email tickets@delcosupport.com

Property Alert

The Delaware County Recorder of Deeds Office launched a Property Alert program in February 2024.

Signing up for a Property Alert program offered by the Recorder of Deeds in Delaware County provides several key benefits:

1. Protection Against Fraud

Property fraud, where someone illegally uses your property for financial gain, is an increasing concern. The Property Alert program notifies you whenever a document is recorded with your name or property details, allowing you to take immediate action if something looks suspicious.

2. Peace of Mind

Knowing that you will be alerted to any changes or recordings involving your property gives you peace of mind. It ensures that you are always informed about any legal documents filed against your property.

3. Quick Response to Issues

Early detection of unauthorized transactions or recordings can help you address potential issues before they escalate. Prompt notification means you can contact authorities or legal advisors quickly to resolve problems.

4. Convenience

Alerts are sent directly to your email, keeping you informed without the need for constant manual checks.

5. Monitoring Multiple Properties

If you own multiple properties, the program can help you keep track of all of them simultaneously. This is particularly useful for landlords, investors, or those with inherited properties.

6. Free Service

Many counties offer this service for free, making it a cost-effective way to protect one of your most valuable assets.

7. Awareness of Legal Activities

Being aware of all legal activities associated with your property ensures that you can maintain accurate records and stay informed about any liens, mortgages, or other legal filings.

By signing up for the Property Alert program, you take a proactive step in safeguarding your property and staying informed about any activity related to it.
