Thanks to stronger-than-expected Earned Income Tax (EIT) revenue in 2025, Upper Providence Township is projecting a $697,785 surplus.
What this means for residents:
- Council is considering lowering the General Fund Real Estate Tax Millage by 22% in 2026.
- For the average household, this could mean an 18% reduction in Township Real Estate Taxes—dropping from about $1,073 in 2025 to $880 in 2026.
