[ARCHIVED] Kudzu Alert: Kudzu Vine – The Invasive Plant that “Ate” the South

Kudzu_Old State Road_2

Upper Providence Township is very concerned as, once established, it grows at a rate of one foot per day with mature vines as long as 100 feet. The vine can be seen on the left side along State Road, close to the entrance to the Media Bypass.

It’s important to recognize this plant and remove it as soon as possible. This article HERE is very informative and explains what to do when you have kudzu on your property.

Please help Upper Providence Township in its mission to remain kudzu-free, as kudzu's invasion displaces native plants, severely limiting the habitat's potential.
