Over the past several years, so many of us have become familiar with video conferencing, virtual meetings, and online communication.  Here at Upper Providence Township, we have heard from residents interested in attending our Township Meetings but are unable to attend in person.  We are happy to announce that this will soon be changing!

At the February 23rd Township Council meeting, Upper Providence Township Council was united in approving the installation of a new audio/video upgrade. This improvement will allow for the recordings of meetings and the option for residents to watch Council meeting, in real time, from the comfort of your homes.

These important improvements are funded through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (PA DCED) and will allow for greater transparency, increased communication, and overall ease of access to your Upper Providence Township elected officials.

While this improvement will take several weeks to fully install, we look forward to (virtually) seeing you at Upper Providence Township meetings in the very near future!
