The Upper Providence Township Sewer Authority (UPTSA) works hard to provide consistent sanitary sewer service at the lowest possible rates for our residents. The effects of changing economic conditions for 2025 warrant an increase to our ratepayers. Although we are still more competitive than our neighbors in both Media and Middletown, a rate change from $147.50 to $165.00 per quarter is implemented.
The for commercial users is also being adjusted from that same baseline ($165/Quarter) from $9.22 to $10.34 for each additional 1,000 gallons.
Our major cost centers are treatment, system maintenance of the gravity and pump station, and the maintenance of the low-pressure system with individual grinder pumps. Each element of our budget is reviewed to ensure we are delivering the maximum utility at the lowest possible prices.
