[ARCHIVED] New Full-time Police Officer, Stephen Paul

We’re pleased to welcome Stephen J. Paul as a full-time police officer with the Upper Providence Township Police Department.

Stephen is a lifelong Delaware County resident and a graduate of Ridley High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Shippensburg University, where he was a member of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society. After college, he worked in the lab at Crozer Hospital before pursuing law enforcement, following in the footsteps of his father, retired Parkside Police Sergeant William Paul III.

Stephen received his MPOETC certification in 2016 and began his career as a part-time officer with Parkside Police. In 2020, he joined the Clifton Heights Police Department full time, where he served as both a patrol officer and criminal investigator. He holds certifications as a Firearms Instructor, Rifle Instructor, Glock Armorer, and EMT.

Stephen lives in Delaware County with his wife, Christianne, along with his 2 children and 4 stepchildren.

Outside of work, he enjoys baseball, softball, golf, and time with family. Known for his calm demeanor, strong communication skills, and professionalism, Stephen is a valuable addition to the department and the Upper Providence community.
