Upper Providence Township Extends Heartfelt Thanks to Its Dedicated Crossing Guards

Untitled design (74)

On Friday, December 8, Upper Providence Township hosted a breakfast to thank its Crossing Guards for their service. Their efforts every morning and afternoon ensure a secure pathway for all pedestrians around Rose Tree Elementary School.

The Rose Tree Media School District has set a limit of 8/10th of a mile for walkers to walk to school. There is no state-imposed restriction on the distance a child can walk to a bus stop, provided the route is safe. The safety of these routes is largely attributed to the dedicated efforts of our Crossing Guards.

Upper Providence Township and the Rose Tree Media School District want to emphasize the importance of drivers paying attention to Crossing Guards, traffic lights, and speed. Kindly reduce speed and remain vigilant for pedestrians.
