We would like to give a big shout out to our Public Works crew. Members of the Upper Providence Township Public Works Department are still hard at work cleaning up after the storms this weekend. The 3 to 5 men crews worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to get the numerous trees that fell on Township Roads and storm drains cleared. They also assisted police with putting out cones and barricades.
The crews assisted with down trees on the following roads:
- Farnum
- Dog Kennel (2)
- Paxon Hollow
- Steeplechase
- Gordon and Davis
- Chapel Hill
- Foxchase
- Kimberwick
- Mansion & Leedom
- Spring Hollow
- Foxcatcher
They also cleared storm drains as well as washouts on the following roads:
- Dog Kennell (3)
- Farnum (2)
- Rose Tree
- Crum Creek
Thank you again to our Public Works team for all that you do to keep our township safe and running smoothly!
PLEASE NOTE: We are aware that there is still a tree down on State Road. The tree is in wires and cannot be moved until PECO gets the wires. Both PECO and PennDOT have been out to survey the incident and are working to get it resolved as quickly as possible.
