Detective Sergeant Moore has worked for the Upper Providence Township Police Department since 2003.

He was inspired to become a police officer after being involved in his hometown fire company. He wanted to continue to help a community and their residents in their times of need both good and bad. Detective Sergeant Moore says that getting to build relationships with the community members and their children is his favorite part of the job now.

Detective Sergeant Moore loves working for the UPT Police Department and says that it stands out amongst other departments due to the officers both professionally and personally. Their dedication to Upper Providence and the other members of the department (coupled with the tremendous support of the community members) is unmatched.

One of Detective Sergeant Moore's favorite memories of his career here was answering a call on N Ridley Creek road for chickens in the roadway. When they arrived on the scene they had found dozens of chickens who had escaped the coup!

When he is not working at the police department, Detective Sergeant Moore serves as the the Deputy Chief at a local fire department and enjoys spending time at the Jersey Shore with his family.

Thank you for your service Detective Sergeant Moore!
