What is a Road Program? 

Roads for the annual Road Program are chosen based on current conditions, anticipated utility work, safety input from the Township Engineer, and the township's budget. The Township Council reviews and approves the road selections during a public meeting each spring after receiving feedback from the Township Engineer.
Regrettably, due to financial limitations, not all roads can be included in the Road Program. Nevertheless, if a road was not selected this year, it is likely to be included in next year's program.

Please note that several manhole frames on Farnum and Winter Streets must be replaced due to severe deterioration and detachment from their structures when uncovered. Our Sewer Authority is aware of the issue and has already tasked their contractor to proceed with the required repairs. Additionally, we are coordinating with Pipe Services to schedule stormwater cleaning on Winter Street before the paving operations commence.

Glasgow Inc., our Road Program contractor, aims to coordinate the crews closely. However, scheduling difficulties and unforeseen infrastructure issues can occasionally pose challenges to this coordination.
